been in a cast since aug 23,got it off today for good,ankle is really stiff but I'm getting by.at one time I was very worried about losing toes or my left foot,but everything turned out ok.i definitely was depressed a little,not being able to walk or get out,but when I heard its healed,it was miraculous change of attitude and relief.im so happy right now....
 
I broke my hip when I was 30 no cast but on crutches, you would be amazed the places I went on one leg and those crutches. My other leg was like an oak tree when I got rid of the crutches. Would just hop up stairs and hills in the woods.
 
Shattered my Right foot in a motorcycle accident (hit a patch of Black Ice at 35 MPH) when I was in the Air Force. Two weeks later I was right back riding motorcycle again; knee-high cast with exposed toes (middle of Winter in Colorado), wore 4 pair of Wool sox on my right foot & carried crutches in a rifle scabbard attached to the front forks. LOL

Sure felt good when that cast came off. Still have some problems with my right foot, but nothing that slows me down.

I had a bone tumor taken off my ankle 2 years ago. Still a little stiff, but everything works ok.
