This Alabama Company, Cleber LLC, that has been in the news recently looks pretty cool. Check out the tractor they are building, does it remind you of anything? If you follow this link you can see a video of it in action. Also, you can see the descriptions in English if you click on the "English version" options.

I wonder what the price is going to be and if they will build some in the U.S.

Here is a good article about how the company was started.

Here's a direct link. Looks like a G Allis,a Blue 1000 or a Tuff-Built.

Tuff Built or Sauk tractor- Sauk City , Wisconsin is about 35 miles away from me. They took the old Allis G and put in a small diesel and a flat twin Kohler option for engines, simplified some of the details of making it with off the shelf components. Decent enough design for intended market, might get some hauled back to US for market gardens in Detroit when the politicians give up and let the gardeners take over from the drug gangs- Maybe. Last report couple days ago was intended price of $8,000.00 plus or a little minus. MH Pony or old Farmall Cub might be something for that market or the European and Japanese market garden tractors, over grown tillers like the Italian BCS with the diesel engine. Potential 7000 to 12,000 customers since Cuban land reform where the government gave up on collective farm ideas. RN

I wonder if there is a market in the US for that size tractor for the small veggie farms?

Used to be a place nearby when I was young that had 2 or 3 cubs set up for just for cultivating.

Somebody that wants to do a little side farming, these are a lot cheaper than a new compact.

I think there could be a market for this in the U.S. I like to "do a little side farming" and spending 10k or more on a tractor would take the fun out of it for me. I have old equipment but it would be nice to have a new-tractor option like this company is producing in Cuba to choose from.

Wow. That's crazy that Cleber ripped them off so blatantly. I think Tuff-bilt won't have a case though if Cleber stays in Cuba especially since Tuff-bilt probably doesn't have any patent protection given that the technology is old.

Their is a market for these in the U.S. and Tuff-bilt dose sell them right now in the U.S. there website is www.tuff-bilt.com
