2014 Ford Expedition will stay running

My Expedition with 5.4 liter V8 will statrt and die within second or 2. Whats could be the problem? It's under warranty but was just curious what you wxperts thought it is.

GM's will go that with a 'security" issue, dunno if Fords do, as well??

Did one of your 80 bit keys go flukey? See if you can get somebody with a code scanner up there.

I'd bet it has something to.do with security as well. Should be a easy fix though once they figure it out.

Used both keys and it didn't matter.

Check fuel pressure. That symptom sounds like a failed fuel pump. Fuel pump relay is another possibility. Just for kicks, check the inertia switch. I think it is in the passenger side kick panel. The manual will tell you more exactly.

It is at the Ford dealership, we will see what they say on Monday. It may be jacked up and new one run under it, we haven't been to happy with this one so far, lots of little things keep going wrong with it. I have been a Ford man all my life but I am beginning to have my doubts these days with this one anyway. My 1999 F150 has not given me any major problems and has never left me stranded, of course it doesn't have all the bells and whistles the new ones have.
