Politicians on TV - a joke

There was this farmer who couldn't figure out why he couldn't get anything on his TV except politicians bragging on themselves. He decided to go out to check his antenna and found one wire was connected to the windmill and the other to the manure spreader. Welcome to Iowa in January of an election year. We should have a bumper crop with all the crap that has been spread around here this year. ADB
 
It couldn't be any thicker than my home town.

Where else can you have a choice millions of people around the world would like to have the chance something to think about its part of our system and thousands of good men have died for us to have a choice.
 
I would agree but the trouble is that tooooo many of the politicians do not come up to the level of a True Statesmen.
 
Well the problem is we always have to pick between the lesser of two evils. None of them are worth a crap in my opinion ,and haven't been for a long time. Good joke BTW.
 
Stephen, I get a chuckle every time I pass that on FM 429. We might be neighbors! Ever get to the tractor show in Terrell?
 
We need badly to educate our citizens about the 3 branches of government called for in our constitution, re-define the lines between them, prosecute the politicians who violate the law and through them in jail, otherwise we are not going to survive.
 
In his book, "Political Wit", Bob Dole said that when he was first elected to the U.S. Senate and was still trying to get his bearings, and old hand in the Senate told him, "For the first six months, you'll wonder how you got here. After that, you'll wonder how every one else got here".

Sounds about right.
 
I thought one time about putting my tractor in the show but I just don't have the time to even go to the tractor show.

I live a couple miles north of Silverthorn Ranch.
