Speaking of drones.

It had to happen. Racing drones. Was watching a news clip on them. these things look very advanced (and very expensive). They are capable of around 85 mph. Showed a race set up in the Miami Dolphins stadium. Sorta like a motocross for those without the physical strength for the real thing. I'll say one thing about it, you better be petty good at it or you are going to have a very expensive wreck on your hands. It was rather exhilarating watching the race through the onboard camera.

Bottom line: you build it and somebody is going to figure out how to race it!

Alawys told my wife if I were confined to a wheel chair I sure wouldn't be satisfied with those piddly electric ones. I build one with a YZ 250 motor in it and tune it up to about 60 hp.! Lol!

that would be a hoot to watch, bought 2 minni's for grandsons birthday, his pet cat sure gets a kick out of trying to catch them.

I've had the same thoughts! Guess I better get started now, just in case... Not going gas though, maybe a Tesla drive with a smaller battery pack. Oh, and crawler treads for stairs. Probably be a little hard on carpet and doors though! LOL

Here's one a guy is getting ready for you Don..

UK/England had a class of handicapped vehicle post war- intended for legless vet's etc. -'Invalid Pram' as a wheel chair with engine assist. Minor loophole in the motor vehicle laws, wasn't a car or commercial vehicle or motorcycle exactly, just got lumped into Bicycle, etc/other equipment allowed on road. NO drivers license required, NO speed limit, not much equipment needed for daylight use- otherwise bicycle lights for night use. Laws got changed after a 'Invalid Pram' with a BSA(?) V-twin engine for police sidecar-(999cc flathead?)- use was clocked going over the speed limit and the one legged operator without drivers license pointed out the speed law didn't apply to him or some of the other exempt from road laws disabled people personal transports. A common make/model had a 125 to 200 Villiers 2 stroke engine- 2 to 5 hp- and was good for about 20mph, got a moped/disabled license plate later in the laws. MZ and later Suzuki and Yamaha dirt bike racing engines with 10 to 20 hp meant 45 to 60 mph possible and for a few drivers with drivers license pulled (overindulgence in pub specials) and some kind of handicap or disability noted on National Health Medical ID cards, the old loophole got closed regarding max hp- got dropped to about 2 hp as was 'Moped' limit, still have one or 2 grandfathered from the old law driving around. 'Top Gear' program I think had couple of them featured couple years back, likely been rerun from the original BBC/whatever broadcast previous years. RN.
