Lowest here is 1.86.

Home heating oil is $1.34 though! Wife's got the heat cranked up to 68 around the clock. Cheaper to burn oil than wood right now.

Crude bounced nearly 8% today.

Expect gasoline to jump 30 - 35 cents tomorrow or Monday.

$1.47 last evening in Wapakoneta, Oh. If would have gone in for gas card, amounts to paying in store instead of at station could have saved $.03 per gal but for $.36 not worth the hastle.

Went past another gas station in town, $1.47. I may have caused the price to drop. The other day, I filled all my gas cans and filled the truck at $1.54. It always happend like that, doesn't it?

$2.49 diesel and $2.60 gas is the best prices I've seen n Santa Rosa, CA. Average diesel about $2.65 average gas about $2.75.

Ya know, I thought we were getting the thumb in an inappropriate place gas price-wise. With the exchange rate to the CDN $, I'm not sure anymore. My son is paying $.84 per liter in Northern (where there ain't no refineries) Alberta. So, that equates to (3.78 l per US gal.) to $3.71 - 40% on the dollar =$2.26 per US gal. Here we just hit a new low of $1.049 per L, so ,1.409 x US gal.- exchange = $3.189. Still getting continuous inclined planed.

When the U.S was in the 1st. Iraq war, And the oil fields in Kuwait where on fire, Gas here was .84 gal That's right .84 gal. Then after 911 it jump to $1.41 every one was having a fit. Then gas kept. going up & up Just plain Greed. Dave F.
