Took a couple pics this afternoon around home, we'll see what it looks like by Saturday, the forecast says my area will miss the brunt of the storm. Western PA

Those dump rakes were a dangerous piece of equipment. Notice that there is nothing for the operator to hang onto. If the team ran away, the operator usually fell forward and was tumbled to death by the rake teeth by the time the team stopped. Dad always kept one foot ready to push himself over backwards so he would fall behind the teeth.

For some reason the team would run away with the hay bucker once in awhile. Dad sat on the seat on the back to counterbalance the bucker teeth. If the team ran away, he'd just step off the seat and the teeth of the bucker would dig into the dirt until they stopped the team real fast. I've seen the bucker standing almost vertical with the teeth driven into the ground - and the back legs of the horse lifted off the ground. The horses would look around with a look like "what happened here?"

Nice. Rust always looks neat in pics.

We have a rusty Little Genius... and a rusty Farmall Regular.

The first two pictures look like a nice "snow plow"?
Seriously I love your pictures, there is something really neat about a fresh snowfall,
how it gives the image of peacefulness & purity, thank you for sharing.
