RK 10w40 $1.25/qt

Regular price has been and still is after this sale $1.69 per Quart. Bought a case last fryday.
 
Oil dropped below $29 a barrel today,that was my point. Gonna get pretty hard for the oil companies to defend high prices forever.
 

I have not used 10/40 in decades and now they are giving it away... I did get a good deal on a drum of 5/20 synthetic blend this week. Its probably been 15/20 years since I brought it at the price I paid.

Chines tire prices has dropped also...
 
I don't own an engine I would use 10W40 in. In fact most new engine warranties would be voided by using it.
 
I read that the price of a barrel of oil now costs less than an
actual barrel (new) to put it in. No idea if that's true or not.
No wait, it must be true. I read it on the internet! LOL

Got a case of 5W-30 for the car at that price at RK and two oil filters. Got the oil changed the day before the bottom dropped out of the temperature (no heated shop).

I think I posted this on here sometime ago.Years ago, in the '70s,a GM engineer said 10/40 oil never should have never seen the light of day.Now several small engine makers recommend 10/40 under certain temp. conditions.Go figure!
