missouri guys....road conditions????

daughter is heading back to mizzou in columbia tomorow for school. she usually goes thru pittsfield illinois, over the scary bridge and wanders thru mexico mo on the way to columbia. wondering how the roads are thru there if any flooding still? just a worried dad..... thanks.

I don't know, but my son had gone north from MO. to Wisconsin pick up his girl, then they're heading back south to Missouri S&T. Point being, the worry never quits, does it?
I THINK all the MO. roads are OK.

most of the flooding was south of St.Louis. check modot.gov for road closures

According to my local weather they are supposed to get some snow up there tomorrow, but for today just clouds, currently in K.C. it is 38 degrees. I do not blame her for going that way, I like that road too!

If you're talking about the bridge at Hannibal on 36 that is a new bridge about 10 years ago. Not a narrow tight one anymore.

I'd be more worried about what is/was going on at the school then the roads. Bunch of crazy people there.
As for the roads last I heard most if not all roads are open again here in Missouri

no, its the one on hwy 54 that crosses in to louisiana mo. lots of bald eagles hang out there in the winter by the marina on the east side. first time over that bridge , i met a semi coming the other way. bridge prolly is a little wider than it looks, but boy it was a pucker moment!! its way up there over the river too.

If you think its bad in a car try meeting a semi while you are pulling a 24 foot pontoon boat that is at least 8 feet wide I dread that every time. Last summer I tried coming back thru Hannibal and it was an enjoyable trip and wow what a huge fireworks retail store just outside of Hannibal
