We have two local herds of dairy cows that have had viral pneumonia sweep through their herds. One of the herds had a very good ventilation system, too. Don't know about the other herd. Had that stuff in my herd one time. Very nearly put me out of business. Bad stuff. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
 
I know you are talking about the girls but us human folk should talk to your doctor and get BOTH shots for pneumonia. Also get the one for shingles. My $.o2. Both are deadly and or you wish you were dead.
 
It's bad stuff! My mom starting feeling bad on good Friday and easter Sunday dad called and said she did not feel like going to church . I called my sister and we got her the the hospital and she died Monday from it. Only took 3 days from being healthy and helping cut wood to passing.
 
Yeah, fellas. I had pneumonia 4 times between Sept and April when I was 28. The second time very nearly killed me. Right lung was never right after that. Took ten years to recover and never did recover 100%. Lost the best working years of my life because of pneumonia.


Lost a good share of my herd to the viral pneumonia at the time.
