clutches

I seen this on an add they said the tractor was working fine but would need a clutch eventually as its hard to get in it gear would this be the clutch or an adjustment?

Could be either, but since they are selling it that was, I would guess they know it isn't needing an adjustment and would plan for the worst. just my thoughts, keith

It could be adjustment and it could be a warped clutch disc, these things can lead to clutch "Drag" which would make shifting hard.

Could a clutch disk or a throw out bearing or pilot bearing and as simple as an adjustment.

Could also be "operator error".
