Unusual Winter

Here in Sask. we have below normal snow and above normal temperatures so far. I don't recall ever cutting bulrushes in the sloughs in the first week of January but I did that yesterday. Had the old 40 working pretty good pulling the 6 foot rotary through the tall growth. Normally you could hardly run a snowmobile through that deep snow that collects there. Worst part was I was breaking through the frost in a few places so finally quit before I got the tractor stuck.

Looks like fun. Can't you do like those two crazys out west that burned the Goveyments land? Oh yea you didn't try to cover up a whole herd of deer? That stuff would make a nice bonfire wouldn't it? This government is WAY out of control. The DC crowd.

Too much snow on the ground to burn now but yes, given the right conditions they will burn well. Too wet all summer.

same here in Iowa, poring down rain, If it was snow we would have had several feet. Sister lives in Minn Minnesota, her kids are hollering about no snow, no ice on the lakes, cant play hockey outside, cant ride snowmobiles. I'm just darn glad I don't have to put chains on the tractor
