$30,000 in Stolen Hay, A Murder!!!

In New York state an 83 year old woman murdered in November by hired hands having stolen around $30,000 in hay for some years is the motive according to State Authorities. What A World, What A World!!!

not sure those two killed her, maybe were just stealing the hay:

NORTH SALEM, New York (WABC) --
Two men who worked at Windswept Farm, owned by Eugene Colley and the late Lois Colley, have been charged with stealing more than $30,000 worth of hay from the estate, according to state police.

On Jan. 3, Angel Parra Penafiel, 33, and Hugo Ramirez-Morales, 33, both of North Salem, were arrested and charged with grand larceny.

While investigating the Lois Colley homicide, police said they discovered that the defendants had stolen the hay from Windswept Farm over the last several years and sold it. Both defendants were employed by the farm as laborers.

Colley was found bludgeoned to death in November in the laundry room of her home, a colonial manor on 300 acres known as Windswept Farm.

Those from the other side of the border, mostly illegals, kill each other on a daily basis around Phoenix for a lot less reason than $30,000.

While investigating an upper crust murder, the upper crust authorities discovered some hay being stolen at the same place.

While there is a good chance they are connected, it doesn't have to be connected.

A grim topic, but as to the hay it is rather humorous how the upper crust folk 'report' about hay and just bewildered their has never been another hay theft ever and if you pencil out the values associated with the hay - oh my!
