Other uses for draft control

I am using the draft control on my back blade again this winter, it really helps when the ground is not frozen or going over gravel.

Interesting. I didn't thjnk it was that sensitive (I thought it had to be ground engaging). I have a lot of adjustment on my 886 draft control - I wonder if it would work. What tractor are you doing this with?

Using your blade backwards also helps when the ground's
not yet frozen, but you probably already know that.

Hmm. I've never tried the draft setting on my Ford. When I bought a new Woods blade last year, I ordered it with skid shoes to reduce the damage to my gravel driveway.

Is the sensitivity of your draft control adjustable? Mine is not, and I assume I'd be taking a huge chunk of driveway before the draft would trip.
