Finished fabing up my hyd dump trailer

I have been finishing up this dump trailer that I started 10 years ago. Got the chassis and a start on the body back then, but never found time to get it completed until this past month. Just used it as was. It has hauled tons and tons of firewood. The first pic is as it has been for the past decade. Finally got it finish the way I planned to build it back then. It holds a struck load of just over 100 cu.ft. @ top of the long sideboards.
The chassis is the back half of a WFE model 5026 running gear that was wrecked. The pole is a 4x4" toung from a Case 330 baler, and most of the framework is made from Kubota shipping crates. The hyd cyl was a bucket cyl off of a Case 281 loader. All made from salvaged materials that I have aquired over the years.

At one time I had a pile of those old KUBOTA crates at the farm that I thought I would never use. Now that they have gone to the returnable ones wish I had saved more. Use them for everything. Have a wood mizer mill and they are great for stacking lumber. Do you have a wire welder or did you do that wit a stick welder? Will have pictures of my excavator mounted wood splitter in a few days. Took you plan and tweaked it hop it works as good as your. Weather has been 70s and I have been working outside but will get back on that project soon as it turns cold. (weekend) Trailer looks good.

Man, that is a lot of wood stacked up in that window. I know that looks can be deceiving, but I'm guessing that its stacked back pretty far. My brother stacks about two cord in his shop, but he doesn't stack it quite as high, which is what makes me think that there's a whole lot more there. And in the picture with the Chevy pickup and maybe a 930?, looks like a lot more back in that pole building too. You are set. By the way, nice trailer too.

Good luck, use it in good health.

The wood shed is stacked to the rafters and is 24' long. It holds 17.5 full cord of wood. Last year I burned 14 cord. I lit the boiler back on the 14th of Nov, but I let it go out last Thursday,as I was just wasteing wood. The house and shop has stayed warm without it. Lit an overnight fire in the fireplace Sat night, but that has been it.
Yes that is a 1969 930. My son came up today and we pulled the cab off. Going to do a complete out of frame overhaul on the engine this winter and the cab wouldn't fit through the shop door. The cab needs some serious TLC before the whole tractor gets repainted next spring.
Pics are from back in Aug when I was filling the woodshed.

jm, I have a Lincoln SP100 wire welder on the bottle, and an old tomestone Lincoln that was my grandfathers. I use the stick welder for welding the heavier materials and the wire feed for stuff like the Kubota crates.

Good Morning Loren
Nice looking trailer , do you have a degree in engineering , or do you just know what will or will not work ? Everything you have made and shown a picture of looks factory made . Even painted .
