Has anyone watched the VLCTY (Velocity) channel on TV? It's channel 246 on Dish. Anyway, it has shows about cars and trucks. I'm watching a show that is on now called "Bitchin' Rides" They really build some nice cars and trucks in that shop. Their fabricators do some amazing work.

Too much made up fussing and fighting combined with all the beeped out language for my part. Same for many other of their shows. I prefer
chasing classic cars and wheeler dealers as language and content more realistic.

BTW, on MAVTV, there's a show called Full Custom Garage. It showcases a very talented fabricator named Ian Roussel. He makes it all look so easy. (In front of the camera).

Watch it when I get a chance.
Wish they gave pricing on the completed cars to do all that work.
It's got be more than the average person could afford in their lifetime.

Chasing Classic Cars and Wheeler Dealers are kind of fun. Some of the restoration/hot rod shop shows were silly because of the artificially imposed and impossible deadlines, leading to lots of strife, which I don't find entertaining. Fantomworks is an exception- no deadlines, and realistic problems that you run into on a restoration, with imaginative solutions applied. Overhaulin' is also good- Skip Foose is a genius (except for that foolishness with the tractor a couple years ago), and the point of the show, which is doing a restoration for someone who's never been able to manage it themselves, is great.

How true the cost would be out of site all the workers overhead ect the finished price would be like the national debt

Yes, I watch it sometimes. It's more a "go there when nothing is on" channel.

I like the barn find/restoration type best, the really old stuff they bring back to original.

Some of it is believable, some is staged actors, but I have to remember it's all TV, anything is possible
with time lapse and camera angles.

The jibber-jabbering auctioneers are annoying!

Chip Foose is a real stand up sort of fellow. His designs and fabrications are top notch.

There is some of that, but not as much as some car shows have.

I like that show,I also like "Graveyard Cars",the MOPAR show. The lead in that is a total MOPAR geek

That show about Mopars caught my interest Pitch! We have Dish, and I haven't seen it offered. You can bet I am going to look for it. I enjoy making the LA'S talk up and do there stuff, for me 273 to 360"s are fun to modify.
