Interesting where some people get their handles. I was amused by Two Dogs. Used to deal with a guy who ran a decent sized company, his email address was "wood eye". When I asked him, sure enough he told me about the one-eyed boy at the dance. Said when he first got email he didn't think it would last and thought the joke was funny.

On eBay, I'm oldironfarmer but when I started YT I wanted to be me.

Some are obvious, ( like oldironfarmer) but tell us where you got your handle.

My handle pretty well sums it up. I get a kick out of fixing up almost anything to make it work and look like new again.

Mine is pretty simple as well, my name is Gary and I live in Muleshoe, TX. Could be unique I guess cause there is not a lot of places named Muleshoe.

Got 70+ Case tractors, 35 Case garden tractors, 100+ pieces of Case equipment...... 40 plows, 20 combines, 10 field cultivators, 12 discs, 8
threshing machines, 10 running gears, 3 feed grinders, etc. SC are my first and last initials.

Old bob. I have always answered the phone as
'hey this is Old bob'. My name is bob, I am 62, and
sometimes my body feels old.

Have a good day.

I was living in Arizona at the time and my daily transportation was, and still is sometimes, a '82 Electaglide.

My initials and what state I'm from. It lets people know somewhat where I live but preserves my anonymity.

"Goose" was my nickname in the Marine Corps. I still use it as a handle on the CB radio. My wife is "Mother Goose".

shoulda mentioned, it falls in line with the German version of my last name, not personality issues.

Years ago I got interested in Indian Motorcycles. I have four now, with the price of them I doubt I will have anymore. My favorite is my 1937 Indian Chief. If I had to do it over I would have used 37 AC, as I have several Allis Chalmers M crawlers, that go back to the late 30's. Stan

When I was 13 I bought my first car - an old VW
bug. In my teens I had hundreds, rebuilding engines
and jockeying. When I started farming and
everything was breaking down I realized I was
notjustair anymore. I could have gone with
notjustdiesel or notjustthebrokencombine, but those
don't seem handy.

Today I'm notjustthecattleareout.

Still have a few of those dumb cars. Now it's limited
to the special ones I will always keep to drive for
fun.

I am actually in Iowa, most people have called me Barry from birth although I have been called other names at different times, some of which can not be repeated here.

Those that know me often describe me as danged determined.
I suppose once in a while I walk the fine line towards too stupid to know better, but hey that's how we learn.

My grandpa was raised near a small town in MN called Weme, it has since then been passed down to my dad and some day to me and I'm partial to John Deere

When puters first became popular for poor folks everyone needed a handle. I have worked with cattle all my life. BIL and SIL suggested an native indian name. Kickinbull pies that sometimes slips.

My initial to my first name is J and I live close to the southern Alberta Rockies in Canada so I through that in the mix

I was given mine from a former boss of mine. I raised beef cattle and work full time. I direct marketed beef to coworkers also.So
I was given the name Kow Farmer years ago and it stuck. I added my first name later on YT so I could be more personable that way.
Kow Farmer Kurt

I like Allen wrenches. :)

Well i guess that since i fix tractors and i make house or should i say on Farm calls i am sorta a tractor vet , hence the handle . Met a lot of good people over the years and made some life long friends . Put on a lot of miles lost a lot of sleep . had a lot of shell we say interesting experience's some funny and some exciting . Slowed done a bit as the years get shorter but still keep fixing . some times i let my 24 year old mind overload my old body . Just can not do what i use to . There is nomore setting a head up over the guide studs by myself any more and nomore hand lifting a ring and pinion out of a rear end or replacing a axle housing by myself. Just ain't ah going to happen.

Claimed my handle after I bought my first tractor. It's an absolute basketcase JD B. Bit off more than I could chew at the time. Gosh,
been using that handle for just over 10 years now. Still true.

My first cows I ever bought was a Brown Swiss, my dad had all Holsteins till I mixed in the Swiss, I like the Swiss
better!

Last name starts with K, I am often quite Effective.

My off-farm job is in nuclear power, where K Effective is a term used for a measure of the criticality of a reactor.

I tend to be supercritical, not the most desirable personality trait.

Born (1944) raised on a Nebr Wheat Farm. Then farmed it when Dad got sick and died from 2000-2007. Still have some of the Tractor, Trucks and Equipment.

A guys Sportster wouldn't go into first gear because it was pinched and couldnt spin freely . Not a problem to reshim. He was so amazed that I knew what it was and fixed it for him he said you are a doctor of Sportsters . I didn't really like the name but he is a Viet Nam vet and he kinda got alot of people calling me that so I figured I didn't mind.

I used to work the midnight shift, the graveyard or Spook shift. But I had a couple handles on here before that - Easy and easyirv.

CCer means that I am A Clover Creek-er from Pennsylvania. I live in the Valley, and the Village. You can google it, and read all/more about it on Wikipedia.

Last name is Taylor and, when I was in the AF, I played a ton of golf and was quickly given the moniker Taylormade.

That carried over to my hobby of woodworking pretty well too.

I just use my name;they used to call me Doc at work. One of the guys started it back in the '70s and it stuck. But I either have no imagination,or I'm too lazy to think up a handle for here on YT.Actually I prefer my name.Mark

I lived in Wisconsin at the time, the initial for my first name is S and my last name is Baker, I'm now in Iowa but haven't bothered to
change the handle

(quoted from post at 13:28:29 12/12/15) When I was restoring my truck I used this handle
elsewhere and just kept it

Fine looking truck. I really learned something today. I always thought the new style started in 1948, and that 1948 was the only year without wing vents. Now I know!

First name, Steve, and I work at Advance Machine Tool.

Not very creative, didn't give it a lot of thought when I signed up, but didn't realize I would be sticking
around this long. Maybe some day I'll come up with something better.

They were very similar from '47 till '53, but there are subtle changes in each year which the experts can point out. (I'm not one of them!) Check out the forums and gallery over at stovebolt dot com for a lot more info.

In the summer of 2000 one of the ladies at the county extension office got this idea that there should be some antique tractors in front of the New Hampshire building at the Eastern States Exposition. Well she called me and asked if I could make it happen, and I agreed to do it. While I was there with one of my Ford row crops which I had recently fixed up a little, and telling a fella about it, He said "This isn't a row crop it's a showcrop". Soon after I signed up here and thought of it for my handle.

Yes, even '47 through '54. I've had several of them, have a '48 2 ton cabover and a '48 Suburban right now. I just never knew a '47 wasn't like a '46. I'm a '49 model so '48 and back is ancient history.

Never thought about it, first time I logged in it asked for a handle , Jerry Mack is my firs and second name so JM. Had to add the dot because someone already had jm never have seen him post in over 12 years.

My name is Joe and I live in Seattle???

Hi my first names Robert, I didn't want to use my last name in my handle. But I collect Fordson Major tractors so used the Major part as well.On some
other places I will use Super six, nine, five, four, which is 2 Ford based county tractor model numbers I own. Fordson Major is another, or Farm kid 1974
being one and my birth year. I have to use one or other as somebody else might of had something close already logged in and forums won't take other
things I tried on joining is why i have a few that normally work everywhere.
Regards Robert

Initially trained as an Emergency Room Physician but worked as a CORONER (amongst many other professions). First name is Walter but commonly
use nickname of "Doc" - in fact more people know me by my nickname than by my given name. Actually I'm kind of a Jack-of-All-Trades and
Master of quite a few - Top Miner; Top Millwright; Senior Underground Mine Maintenance Mechanic; Licensed Blaster; Heavy Equipment Operator;
Certified Welder-Fabricator; Certified Firefighter; and Certified Search & Rescue Technician .

Then 5 year old niece started calling me uncle scat after I teased her about stepping in cow poo,(city girl). Wife said I got what I
deserved. It's a big joke now. Maybe you can guess my first name. Enjoy the site. Thanks

At 3/4 years old it was more than I could handle so clime up get in jeep :D There was a truck shop down the road the train started moving one of the mechanic saw me and got me off. If not no telling were I would have ended up... Every chance I got I ran off to the truck shop the owner tagged me Hobo.

Mine is pretty simple. Grew up with Case tractors and am kind of nuts about them . The 1
is because the sight needed one more character.

My initials and the first "tractor" I bought: a Ford 755 TLB which is why I began looking at the YT site.
