Tractor value

I have what I believe is a 9N. (Rear wheels) It has a 1948 8N serial number on the motor. Missing the grill, battery cover and one rear tire is cracked. (All tires do hold air though) 3 point and pto work fine. Converted to 12 volt. Runs very well and goes through gears great. I added a front pump with new shaft and pulley to power a front loader (Kelly 600) replaced 6 new hoses and all three hydraulic cylinders ( dual action). Has it's own resevoir for hydro fluid. Works great too. It's ugly but runs and works well. I have no need for it and was wondering what it might be worth? I'm near Indianapolis if that makes any difference. Thanks for any advice. Bob

Ford 8N, 9N, 2N board on YT site could give you good information. Maybe move the question there. Lots of experts on N-Series Fords.

Really boils down to not what it is worth but who is going to buy it. That market is just not there. I have seen them have to beg to get a bid on those old tractors at auction when they are like you say missing the grill and weak tires. Folks like looks. YOU know it works but most folks look at it as another old ford. Between willing seller and someone willing to buy it maybe $1500.00 but you have to find that one guy.

I saw a beat to heck 8N that ran but not well. Less than 50% rubber in poor condition bring 1500 at an auction here this summer. At the same auction a Farmall 706D ran nice. Good tin, Cab with glass intact, 80% rubber that looked very good, 2800. Right area to sell a utility type tractor, poor area for a 706D. Just too small to do anything there. Those boys in that area run 150 plus PTO HP tractors on their grain augers. I really makes a difference area to area.

Here I'd say 1500 to 2K.
