Got a JD 635i and am thinking about trading for a new Polaris 570. The 570 is the wide version. Looking for just a little more speed as much as anything.

The JD has 130 hours and is a 2013 so has lots of life left so no pRobles there.

Any reviews on the Polaris good or bad. Mostly will be used for spraying and misc farm chores. Thanks - Bob
 
I personally do not like the Polaris UTVs. They have a HIGH RPM motor with little torque. You shave to wind the heck out of them to go. If your hill jumping and that type of thing they are fine but to use them around the farm they are annoying. My neighbor has several of them and they sound more like snowmobiles than UTVs. He comes over to visit on them and they sound like they turning 7500 RPM with him going 10 MPH. For farm chores and spraying I would not want one. So go drive one before you buy one. I just do not like the way they sound.

Also parts are SKY high on them. My youngest works on ATVs and UTVs an Polaris and Cam AM are the highest on parts.
 
I have 2 Rangers a 500 and a 700. I have never had any problems with them. also have 2 sportsman atvs and there just as good. A couple of years ago I bought a gator for the kids because its slower. At 300 hrs the engine blew and since it was over a year old I was stuck with it. I replace the engine and have been trying to sell it but no market for gators around here.
 
I have ran them for 20 years on my farm, Great machines and very little repair work, yes parts are high but so are all others nothing new, to me they are in the top units out there, I do like the new gasp JD units they have came out with in the past couple years, but they are much higher priced than the Polaris units, at least here, same basic unit was 4000 higher,

Polaris 500 in firetruck form. Always has it work look and dependable. I bought it used and has been good.
