They didn't make Oliver green here, Cockshutt red

cared for . Bruce

no, not a 550 no way shape or form. white did sell a white 550 painted red and but labeled as a 2-45 (i think)

Fiat built and painted some oliver green too. would have been a 12** too maybe a 1265 model??

Also came in MM yellow and Cockshutt Red too. Later on they were painted White Silver/gray. Some were also painted Long blue and AC orange and some were the funny fiat orange with different grilles.

White pretty much used the Fiat style grill

No,1265 Oliver. I've got a 1365. It has the White Farm Equipment Brantford tag. It was red with the Cockshutt decals when I got it,but it didn't fit in,so I painted it green and put the Oliver 1365 decals on it.

The 550 was American made, replaced the Super 55. The 500 was a David Brown 850 painted green.
Here's my 500 and Super 55 side by side. The 550 would have looked like the Super 55 except for the grille and would have had white wheels and grille.

Here's a rare little item. An Oliver 550 Cockshutt version.

The second picture is another rare one. Cockshutt 1250 high crop same as an Oliver 1250,built by Fiat.

rrlund,

That last picture looks scary to my eye, loader in upright with a person beneath...and I am far from a safety perfectionist.

Hello Randy----I really like the looks of that 1365. I am looking for a 4x4 with a heavy duty loader. Would that unit work loading gravel, fill dirt etc. into a 10 wheeler. Just using for my own use--maybe 20 loads per year.
Have a JD 410 4x4 backhoe , but want another 4x4 to go along with the JD.
WHAT KIND OF MONEY AM i LOOKING AT for an outfit like that????

Hi Nice tractor Where did you see that, The case side shift hoe in the background caught my attention big time too. They are pretty rare to see this side of the pond, not to many guys understand the side shift concept round here either, unless they see one in pictures or tube video's. I'm hoping to import a JCB from Europe next spring/early summer for my farm and some custom work. That won't be cheap at $14.000 plus tax and post and packing. Not a case fan but maybe I should throw a bid out on that one L.O.L .
Regards Robert

They're hard to find. It took me several years to find that one. I got it in Armada, just north of Detroit. I gave $5800 for it. It's got a pretty good reach. I think it would dump in to a 10 yard box alright.
