OT had not done one of these for awhile

It is a glass block window. I leave the old window in place, take both sash out, then fine tune the fit and set this whole assembly in place. This is the outside, the inside will be flush with the finished wall, so the tile gets glued directly onto the block-no wood will be exposed in the shower!

I have a window exactly like that in my sauna. Same size...everything. They must have cut a hole in the old milk house block to fit it in. No expense was spared, that is for sure. Finns like their saunas. Nicer than the farm house.

Greg,
Nice job.
Looks like you used silicone for the joints?
I do block windows in showers the same way.
Flush with the interior wall and tile just onto the glass block.
I used to use white mortar but have learned the silicone joints stay cleaner longer.
I rarely put the vent window in one anymore.
People rarely use them. Plus I sell them on a vent fan.

i don't like the vent in them either! The customer insisted! These are 8X8 blocks, 6X6 would have worked better but the vent only came in 8X16!
