A Ford or Dearborn series G 3 point hitch about 6 foot wide. I have had them for a while and they do what I want. Question is can anyone tell me anything about them and where parts can be had? Thanks

Probably Agri Supply would have the stuff you need. Just measure the disc and hole size im sure they will have the stuff you need to fix it up even the bearings.

Dad had a Dearborn 3 point disc back in the day, and it had wood bushings. I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that those are going to be a problem to replace.

Wood bushings are not hard to make if you have a wood lathe. I've made them out of bois d'arc (hedge, hedge apple, osage orange or whatever you call it), and I think elm would work good to, it is tough and fibery. Hickory might work but I hate working it dry, it stinks and burns. I think they were hard maple new.

Yes hard maple because of the oil absorbance factor as that is the only wood that has been found that is hard enough to last but will absorb oil to keep them lubricated. A lot of the other woods mentioned are hard enough, possibly harder than the maple but they will not absorb the oil, the oil or grease just slides right off of them so they are prety much running dry all the time. If there was a better wood than the hard maple the big companys like JD, IHC, MH, JIC and so on would have found it. Even Dunham that was the big player in cultimulchers and cultipackers and also drag type disks used that hard maple so the customers would not be comming back complaning about wore out bearings.
