Plow day Pics

The South Texas Wheel Spinners and Crank Twisters Plow Day at The Rocky Creek Maze. After 2 consecutive years of rain outs we got our plow day in. The ground was gummy but manageable. It was unusual to have more AC's than JD's. Of course, my Massey was the only one except for the dairy owners lawnmower. We even had some heavy horses. Time to put stuff up until the Texas Kickoff Show and Pull in Halletsville in January.

Nice pictures. How much ground did you plow with how many tractors & teams? Looks like everyone had a good time. Steve

We plowed about 40 acres with 14 tractors. these pictures were from the morning. we had a little more sun in the afternoon.

Uh oh, let the comments begin about a kid on a lap.

I sure wish we had your moisture. It is supposed to rain the next three days. I'm just in for a sandwich and am going back to the combine. I think I will be ALL DONE with harvest by the time the rain drops fall.

this was about 90 miles from where I live but I grew up here. i grew up with the owners, my Dad taught them, it's home. i make all the club events.

1957 MF 50. Built in Nov./ Dec/ 1957. Serial tag says Massey Harris Ferguson but it was decaled as a MF 50. That's a Ferguson 14 AO 2 bottom plow.

Great pictures and it looks like that would be a lot of fun. I was always on a fender or lap when I was little on a tractor until I could hold the seat down on my own.
