IA storms?

News says there were tornadoes in IA. IAGary, JDSeller, others, are you ok?

There were some small tornados. Heard of one house that got hit a ways away from here. Few trees went down.

Worst part will be the corn that is flat on the ground from those winds and the 45 MPH winds we are having now.

Still too dark to see the damage.

1 old destroyed west of Winterset, large trees down. Homes damaged east of town.

No damage here in SW Iowa. 80 mph just to the east of us. Snowed 1/2" but it is all gone now.

Lost a few shingles here (SE side Des Moines) but all is well otherwise.

Fine here darn windy overnight with a little snow. A couple of farmsteads near Avoca, SW of me got hit no one hurt not even the driver of the semi that flipped on I-80. David G posted a neat picture of the twister on a thread farther down the page.
