Computer---Safe Mode

I had to replace the cable connecting monitor to PC.
Computer started back up in SAFE MODE.
I tried rebooting and also reboot with F2 and F8
How do I get back to normal?

I could not edit my post.
Wanted to add I have Windows 7 home edition.

AS it is rebooting it should come up with a selection of options safe being one of them. Normal should also be there. But all you should have to do is reboot and it should come up normally.

F8 will cause the computer to start in the safe mode and
F2 will put you in the CMOS setup menu on some computers. A computer that boots into the safe mode
continually may have other problems. You might use system restore to
back to a point before the problem. You may have to do a system recovery.

You may have bent a pin on the cable when you replaced it causing that pin to short to another or the case of the connector.
