Hey guys, I have a Farmall, model H that I have been thinking about putting live hydraulics on. While searching the web, I came across a pump on ebay that looks like it will just bolt up. It fits between the distributor and motor, it came off an H, so it should just bolt up. The guy also has the distributor, its the one that is a 90 degree type. So it doesn't hit the oil filter. Im just wondering if anyone on here has used this type, or seen it, or has any info. Does it have enough pressure? I have included a link to the ebay listing. Any help would be great!

your stock distubator will work just fine save your money there is a spacer behind it you take off and replace with the pump some say you have to change the front cover some say you don't they say the hole wont align up. also you need the super h-300 gear
 
Someone upgraded my M with a live pump. I couldn't do without it. I have no idea whether it was done right (cam gear upgrade) but I think of that every time I pick up a round bale or something else heavy.

Live hydraulics will really make a tractor out of that H.
 
I got all my parts from mike at the steel wheel ranch. front cover cam gear, pump and hose block along with everything to add power steering. its been a pretty long time since I did this I guess mike is still in business.
 
Thanks for all the comments! I am not looking to add power steering, rather use it to power a 3 point. A member from another site said that it will bolt up, and work just fine, as long as I keep the pressure below 1000 psi because of the cam gear. He also said me distributor will work if I take out the spacer. How difficult is it to change out the cam gear?
