Tornado Warnings in November

My part of NWIA was north of the heavy stuff though we did get a little under an inch of rain with lightning. Wind is coming up pretty good now at 6:00 PM. I just got done fixing a drain tile hole in a far field and had everything put back away in the shed right before the rain came.
 
The town of Avoca, 30 miles SW of us had a small tornado go by just to the west of it. Blew over a tractor-trailer on I-80 and took down a barn and some small bins on a farm and left the house alone ,no one hurt. Interviewed the guy and he said he was looking out from the house and stuff started swirling around. The news said it was on the ground for 12 miles. Sounds like if we look out at the right time tonight we'll see some snow.
 
I should add-this evening when I took the 1086 back across the road to the shed the wind was blowing the exhaust smoke down in front of the tractor. The barometer has to be reading pretty darned low to do that.
 
Jim, I was out with my dog at about 4:30 and had 2" of rain in the gauge then, and it is still raining although not as heavy.

not the best thang to have out side your window,,. I have seen my share ,, its exciting but dangerous as hale
 
Just drove home from Golden Corral went to a vets free meal thing there. Gust up to 60 MPH so no way you could drive a straight line due to the high winds. Power just wnet out and back on a few minutes ago
