and I wasnt in Texas...lol

So realistic I can smell them.

No wait, that's me. I've been working for two days trying outsmart these calves and get them caught. I've got 5 left on the south side of the road and 11 on the north side. I've just been waiting them out and shutting the gate behind them when they wander in.

Hmmm, first thought you were randomly ticked off. LOL

Love the Belted Galloways (or Oreo cows as we call 'em).

the belted galloways are good looking animals but around here if you run one thru the sale barn it won't bring anything wonder why?

Belted Galloways are not bid too high because they are slow growing compared to other beef breeds. Don't think they get as big either. At least, that's my understanding. They are nice looking cows.

There's a farm south of me 15 miles or so, owner is much younger than I, he sells some implements, farm related items and or similar infrequently. I've bought some implements in the past, not sure if I missed them before but he has some of those galloways. I'm not familiar with them but its good to see some well cared for livestock on an old in-tact farm in nice shape. He does mostly hay, some grain, looks like nice ground, rolling hills but well drained, given the sub-soils there. Just few of these, nice looking well cared for, kind of completes an old farm.
