I want to thank all that answered my question, I think I will drain some fuel in a can and light it and check the residue. And like someone pointed out, check the oil to. I had another incident , I had 5 gal of diesel fuel in the back of my truck, and left it out over night. The next day I noticed it was half full, and wasnt diesel , Someone had put antifreeze in it, 3 gallons

If any question throw it out or use it for loghting trash fires. Not worth risking an expensive machine.

Do not, please, ever use gasoline to light trash on fire. Ever.

Maybe you should spend some time in thoughtful introspection and try to determine why someone dislikes you so much. Sounds personal.

I think the problem is solved now. And I am more alert to. Soon everything will be under roof. and locked up. I suppose everyone has someone that doesnt care for them for what ever reason, But I cant think of anyone, except for the X, and thats overwith,so I should be good to go, Thanks again

Set a couple of cans in the open with trail cameras on them. Might even add a little water with them. If they pour it in their vehicle, they would not run long. If it happens again, you would have pictures of the perpetrator. But if it is like around here, the "law" would look the other way and run.

My Dad used to tell this story... back in the days when diesel tractors were still in the minority, and gasoline powered tractors were the norm, several times a neighbor lost gasoline from a couple of 5-gallon pails he'd leave at the far end of a field for refueling the tractor while working on that side of a coulee.

He filled the cans with diesel fuel and left them at the same location and it didn't take long before another neighbor's car came to a smokey halt just a little ways down the main road.

Solved that problem with out anything REAL destructive!

Years ago when my daughter was in high school I started missing gas out of 5 gallon cans. Working long hours, I checked my cans one morning about 4:00 and two were near empty. I hid the full ones and filled one half full of water with gas floating on top. I stopped missing gas. After twenty years or so I was relating this to a friend and my daughter was there. She said "so and so was so mad at you. We were late to school because you put water in his gas tank". I did not need to respond but had a great level of satisfaction.
