I went to tractor supply yesterday for quick trip needed bar oil and 2 cycle oil. they were busy lines which is all they have, anyway a few customer ahead in other line had her gog with her the cashier stopped took time to give the dog treats and watch its tricks, then told the other chasier to come watch.I wish the store would change its policy to just service animals not everyones pets. I have seen dogs cats chickens goats ducks all which have left their mark seen dogs pee on bottom shelfs which include candy ,chips, and clothes.i have pets but leave them at home wish everyone would!!!!

I'm with you, Randy! More and more I see dogs in such stores doing "what dogs do." I, frankly, am disgusted by this and am beginning to avoid shopping there. Dog owners somehow seem to believe that their dog should be admired and tolerated by everyone else, whatever they do.

We have dogs that come into the feed store all the time. But they are all well trained dogs. Mostly cow dogs and some pets. We will overlook a young pup making a mistake. One time. But do it again and they are not allowed into the store.

The Big R near here used to allow pets.
I watched some citiots let their mutt poop on the floor
and laugh about it then walk away.
I was in there last week and saw new signs on the doors,
"Service animal only".

Well, one of the reasons that I always wash the clothes or blankets or whatever I purchase before wearing or using them, is because these days most every thing is made in a third world country where I imagine whomever was on the assembly line was picking his or her nose while making it, using the bathroom without having toilet paper to wipe with, or running water to wash AFTER not having toilet paper to wipe with. No textile gets purchased by me without being run through the washing machine before I use it. When I take my dogs into the stores with me, they're pretty good about holding it until they can make it to the restrooms to use the urinals or toilets. Well, the males do anyway because I always go in after they finished to make sure they put the toilet seats down and didn't leave it un clean. My female mastiff though, I just assume that she cleans up after herself because she uses the female rest rooms, and I don't go in them to check things out. None of them lift their legs on shelves at home and they don't on shelves at stores. As far as performing tricks out in public, they don't do that either. They're too young to get workers permits, and I won't allow them to do anything for free.

i would rather shop in a store that lets dogs in then some people. some people are just plain nasty

the reason i say that a few years back we were in New Hampton Iowa at McDonalds and two hog farmers came in to eat they were shi- from head to toe and the stink would kill a magit

That reminds me of what we call that yuck moment. It's that period in time when you realize that the screws you are holding in your mouth was packaged by a 10 year old Chinese kid that has pin worms.
