Picked up a 50 lb. bag of Large yellow onions today

For $10. Been peeling and slicing ever since. Plan on making and canning a bunch of French Onion
soup.

I like creamed onions better. Especially if the layers are pealed off rather than just chunking them up.

And have no idea what that is. I have a friend that raises the candy onion by the tons.

My sister brought Walla Walla Sweets to my barbecue party, sliced them up to put on the hamburgers. I call it "the onion for those who want no onions", which mildly offended her. I like my onions "pungent", the more the better. If an onion doesn't make you cry when you cut it up, you just wasted your time! The red ones are the best, IMHO.

Ilike the mild ones. Even yse them as cooking onions. Hot does not work for me and peppers don't either.
