Changes on new truck

I traded my 2011 F250 Power Stroke this week, basically same truck just new, first thing I noticed is that the boost pops right up to between 25 and 30, where my 2011 never seemed to go over 20. It is supposed to have more torque, I wonder if that is the only change in 5 years.

wasnt there a turbo change? not sure but I though I read they went to dual turbos.. a little one and a big one. Or maybe I ate something that didnt agree with me...

Your other one didn't have def did it? If not this one will be much quicker and snappier and pull better due to less egr.

Both had DEF, I really got to like the extra zip from reduced EGR on the first one, filling it is no problem.

I got a 2011 and went to River City diesel to get better MPH but spent a lot of money to get .5 increase. Plus they were to have done an EGR delete, charged me for it but it is still on the truck. Lawyer time?

I tell all the ford people why they do not have the fuel mileage sticker on the window. They are too embarrassed to do it. I am not very impressed with their products. I like cummins engines but not dodge trucks. I haven't had good luck with gm. I like my toyota vans.

What did you get for mileage with your 2011?

I got 16-17 around town, 19-20 at 55, 17-18 at 75.
