Forget to install the drain plug?
I think another quart will do.

First time I have done that.

A friend of mine got away with doing that at the Olds garage without getting fired, but when the boss sent him out to get the snow off the cars in the lot and he did it with an aluminum snow shovel, well, that incident got him sacked.

Got my wife a 07 mazda 3 a couple of months ago, drained the oil changed filt dumped in new oil, way over full?????
Turns out I drained the transmission.
They're side by side, don't see many auto trannys with a drain plug

I had a friend who always dumped a clean quart of oil through before replacing the plug and filling it. He said it flushed out all of he old oil. I'm pretty sure he's wasted thousands over the course of his life. I've flushed old engines with diesel, but at least that's thin enough to wash things out.

I can tell you a 289 mustang will run over and leak oil out the valve cover breather when your son puts 5 gallons of oil in it instead of 5 quarts.. Its was his first time to change the oil himself. Oh Boy, was the garage ever a mess. At least he called me before he started the engine....He got into my chevron delo tractor oil to boot!! Oh well, you got to lean...

I have 8.7 hrs on mine and just figured out that if I put the deck in the full up position, I can get off and on from the left. I like the machine but getting on it from the left was not working very well.
