Tractor ads

Tractor ads in SC Market Bulletin, just for information, I don't have any connection with any of these tractors: These are, of course, ASKING prices.

55 MF 35, 4 LN tires, new clutch and pressure plate, new starter, runs good, $3700.
67 JD 5020, needs restoring, $3100.
08 Kubota M9540, 2wd, 635 hours, canopy, no FEL, $19,000.
53 Ford 600 w/cutter, disc,new scraper blade, $4500.
Case 485, dsl, remotes, $4500.

Ads needing more information:

88 JD Diesel, canopy, some equipment listed, $7600, BUT no model number listed.

Ford 2000 gas, trans, read end, and lift only, $2000. How about listing at least whether it's 3 or 4 cylinder, since Ford briefly had a 2000 4 cylinder
before they went to the 3 cyl 2, 3, and 4000 models. Also too much money IMO for either.

The MF 35 is somewhat interesting as is the Case 485.

If someone wants to look at these or other ads online, go to agriculture.sc.gov and click on Market Bulletin.

Good point. I constantly see ads in CL, The North Carolina Agricultural Review, and elsewhere, with insufficient information as you mentioned, no model number, whether it is gas or diesel, year or number of hours, etc. I seldom call about anything like that unless it is something that I have been searching for.

Also years do not match model. 55 MF 35 did not exist, in 55 it was Ferguson to 35, MF 35 did not come untill later. No such thing as a 53 Ford 600 as 53 was the Golden Jubille version of the NAA, The 600 did not come out untill 55 and 600 eas series not model, model could have been 640, 650, or 660.
