Ford Hand Throttle Spring

I have a 641. Noticed that the spring is just laying under the battery with one side NOT connected (closest to where the throttle tube comes down). Throttle still works without spring being connected.

Where to connect to and what does this spring actually do?

Thanks,
Mike

If it's like my NAA, there's a stud on the bottom of the battery tray on the right side. Spring hooks to that.

Part #20 is the governor compensating spring.
It helps keep the throttle in position when the governor fights the setting.
Hooks to the linkage and under the battery tray.

Thanks for the response. No stud but I did see a piece of sheet metal with a notch in on the bottom right side of the battery tray. However cant stretch spring that far. Not a big deal... have bigger fish to fry... tractor won't start now. I will be making another post on the forum for that.
