What kind are these bushes & what can i use to kill them? The other side of fence doesnt belong to me, so i cant cut them down. They look like grape vines when the vines on the fence are green.

I am having a knock-down drag 'em out fight with Amur Honeysuckle. Damn invasive, spreading, tangley stuff is EVERYWHERE!

if you want to kill the entire plant (including what is on the other side of the fence), a mixture of roundup & 2-4d. if you just want to kill on your side use gramoxone. Depending on many factors this too could eventually kill the entire plant

A story in killing trees on the sly. My grand parents had a large back yard that was my Grandmothers job to mow with an electric push mower with a long cord or cords. A volunteer black walnut tree started to grow in the fence line between the yard and barn yard. When it got to the point it would drop walnuts in the fall my Grandmother started to want my Grandfather to pull it out. He would not and said he wanted to let it grow. The tree had grown to about eight to ten inches at the trunk base. It then slowly died. It puzzled my Grandfather and he spoke often about what could have killed it. Several years after my Grandfather had died while visiting my Grandmother she told about the tree and how she hated to pick up the walnuts while mowing. So when my Grandfather would not do anything about it she filled an oil squirt can with gas and would empty it around the base of the tree and then refill it with oil and put it back. It took a couple of years but it soon stopped dropping walnuts for her to pick up.

I doubt just anybody can buy Paraquat (gramoxone)

That Tordon RTU (Ready to Use) is pretty easy to get, but you have to cut the plant and then squirt that on the stump.

Regular brush killer would work, but not very selective, might kill all the roses, grapes, and maters in the area.

Need to know what it is first.

Go take a sample to your county University Extension office.
