LOL I watched a few videos from several people on YouTube. There should be a big pop up that tells you NOT to try any of this stuff at home. The things people build wrong and profess to being an "expert" just makes you shake your head. I really wonder, in today's sue happy society, how people are not sued for showing some of this stuff in a video and some one tries to do the same thing and is injured.

I'm just saying...........

Putting warning labels on some things is not enhancing public safety, it is interfering with evolution.

If you are dumb enough to clear a chipper with your leg, make toast in the bathtub, or drive your car with the windshield sunshade in place, by all means, please do!

Hello JD Seller,

Have you seen the video about a certain (CAST) yoke welding? Low Hydrogen rod would have done the job, and neetly. No grape looking weld like what I saw in the video.I too flinch at many videos. Calling drive train components do dads and whatchamacallit. lots of garbage in those videos. Some of those presenters have extreme difficulty with their native language.I
Went to night school to learn the ABC's. I classify those (HERE IS HOW TO DO.IT VIDEOS)
Entertainment but hopefully not duplicated to the letter. I have learned to accept the things I cannot change. Disclaimers are for people with some common sense. I don't see it exercised too often though.

Guido.

The answer to that is, I'm pretty sure NO.
One of my favorite saying is, " the problem with stupid people is, They just don't realize they're stupid."
They'll argue all day about something they know nothing about, while making no sense. And still go home and tell their brother how they kicked some guy's butt in an argument. Stupid runs real deep.
I may not be the smartest guy, but I know when I know nothing about something and when it's time to shut up and listen.

Hi Guido I think Your first comment might have something to do with what JD is saying. There are glaring issues with that whole program, As has been pointed out numerous times to the guy concerned. But we know nothing comments are disabled, The guy is a member here to. Won't mention names, but we know who he is.
It's kinda sad the way this project is probably going to end up. But maybe there is more money in advertising for a certain company or 2, than building a tractor safely/ not looking stupid doing it.Then not taking sound advice from guys that have been there and done these kinda projects more than once in some cases. It's been suggested more than once, he can have all the help he wants here without Youtube comments but that's been ignored to from what I know here.
Regards Robert

The Dunning–Disallowed effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled people make poor decisions and reach erroneous conclusions, but their incompetence denies them the metacognitive ability to appreciate their mistakes.[1] The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their ability as above average, much higher than it actually is, while the highly skilled underrate their own abilities, suffering from illusory inferiority. Actual competence may weaken self-confidence, as competent individuals may falsely assume that others have an equivalent understanding. As Disallowed and Dunning conclude, "[b:8db2c8c467]the miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others" [/b:8db2c8c467](p. 1127).[2][i:8db2c8c467][u:8db2c8c467][/u:8db2c8c467][/i:8db2c8c467]
