A senior neighbor got a deer,,,insisted I take a piece because I give him some vegetables!

a hunter got one in our woods. For letting him in he brought over a few packs of meat. Then he went out to the truck and came back with a near new 18qt electric roaster. He was by one day when my pa was working on tomato soup. Hunter said he didn't need two and thought we could use it. FYI that makes 9 roasters total here.

I have yet to go deer hunting this year due to how warm it has been. I do not like to go hunting till after the first frost and looks like we got a light frost last night. Only season open right now is bow season
