hydraulic line

I was disking this weekend and a hydraulic line up under the dash busted. It went into a square box that the steering wheel went into and the other end went under the floor. Where did the line go to and what would this line be use fore, the steering work.

It would sound like one of the 2 or 4 hydraulic lines burst that runs your power steering. Typically there end up being 4 hydraulic lines, but might only be 2 where your problem happened?

Take out the old line, it unscrews at both ends, (one end should be a swivel type connection, uses 2 wrenches to take apart), take it to the hydraulic shop in your town and have thrm make a new hose that matches the same length and ends, and screw the new one back in.

If you need more help, you -really- need to supply more info, like what tractor model you have, and pictures are good, and so forth...... With such a minimal message, not much we can do, there are thousands of tractor models with power steering.......

It could be just the return line for the steering. The steering would still work but leak all over.
