Used 24 inch tractor tires

I'm looking for a couple of 24 inch rear tractor tires. With or without wheels or rims. The tread is not important as much as the casing being good. They are going to go on a sprayer so needs to be probably 6 or 8 ply or more. Will be carrying about 6,000 LBS at most with part of that on the draw bar.

you could check out wrecking places as the versatile swathers use 11.2x24 tires like that.

Don't they make road truck tires in the size? I'd check a truck tire sales place for old ones. gm

Thanks, I have 11-24.5 from the truck. I was hoping to find like a 12-24 or such. I need the flotation of the wider tire with more height. The truck tires won't fit on an implement rim very well.
I have not looked at salvage yards yet. Thought I might get some private sale.

road grader tires are 14 wide if you need flotation. Heavy load rating too.

Check with good farm tire shops. Lot of front assist tractors used 24" tires on the front and a lot of combines use them on the rear. Maybe even a tractor salvage yard.

I've got a pair of 24" that I think came off a grader. Good and solid, but the tread is short. Where are you at?
