New Idea 329 Auger Tube

I have a New Idea 329 Super Sheller and I am pretty sure I need a new or good used 308333 Auger Tube. I may need the auger also but I don't know that yet. Mine has a good bow in it and has a 4-5 inch flat spot for about 18" in it. It's been hit by too many wagons. Anyway, are there any good sources to check for a good used or NOS 308333 Auger Tube? price steel tubing of the appropriate size from your local steel supply. That is how I replaced the tube on my old Allis 60 combine. Just adapt the tube to your old hardware. The augurs really don't fit that tight so a little slop doesn't seem to bother much.
 
Agco dealers can check for old stock among all other dealers. I needed an odd spacer for an Oliver and the dealer found one at a dealership in Canada.
 
I will take a look we have an old super sheller back in the iron ditch, but not sure if the auger is still attached. I will look in the morning I'm up by Eleva.
 
If you are in ag country, just about any machine shop or welding shop repairs augers on a regular basis and has on hand or quick access to various sizes of auger tubing and flighting, and should be able to get you fixed up for WAY less a]than anything that may still be available fromva dealership is gonna cost you.
 
Just cut the flange/ Fittings of the old one and put a new pipe and screw in it. Just make sure the direction of you screw. Right or left hand.
