[b:a29a596f4a]What do think of a Kubota L225 Tractor?[/b:a29a596f4a][/color:a29a596f4a][/size:a29a596f4a]

They were great little tractors in the mid 1970's. I would worry about the availability and price of parts. [/color:a29a596f4a][/size:a29a596f4a]

It's probably a good parts tractor, with only 20 pto hp it's more like a lawn/garden tractor. Parts availability, and the price of parts maybe a problem (probably why its priced so cheap). I'd stay with something like a Ford 2000, or a Massey Ferguson 135.

Before you get too excited about that tractor, price a new tire. You might decide to walk away from it.

I have an L225DT. Purcased from fathers estate. He purchased new. Hour meters never correct Drive cables break often. This tractor has mowed around many many many corn fields, used as supplemental income after dad retired doing gardens with 5' JD tiller. Still does not use oil. Only had synthetic oil in it. I still use the tiller and use with 5' snow blower. Has been great little tractor. Dad purhased it with rice tires. Still on it. Will need front tires soon. Don't spin the rice tires in mud. Those long treads dig deep very quick.
