Wife update

First the history. Wife has been battling cancer for three years now. First a total hysterectomy (2013), then a tumor surgery(2014) and chemo (ended Dec31), then another tumor surgery (June2015). Just got healed up from that and the tumor is back and even bigger then before so on to Radiation.

Tomorrow Thursday is the last day of radiation treatments. We've been coming to Grand Rapids, Mi for treatment at Mercy Hospital since Aug24. Since it's over an hour away they let us stay at the Hope Lodge by the American Cancer Society. We do go home on weekends. Makes it hard to get any farm work done, but between weather being bad during the week, and the boy taking care of the basics, not much to be done anyway.

Here's hoping and praying this gets that demon once and for all.

We wish the best for your wife and you.Ya know JD seller made a comment about over paid ball players and what sports cost.I have been thinking about that and believe he is 100% right.Why not take some of that money and beat this cancer thing.More research,more study,more tests.I hope I live to see in my life time where they come up with something to kill that cancer bug.How many on this web site have not been affected one way or another with this. Again wishing and praying for you and your wife.

I wish your wife and you well. Cancer is a terrible thing to battle. I had hoped the cure would be found in my life time but that time is getting shorter.

My wife and I will be praying for you and your wife, daily between 5-5:30am. When we pray for people we have not meet a picture is helpful. Once I get it into my mind the faces will come to me as we pray, it is amazing and humbling as I know my pumpkin head could not remember all the people. If a picture is too personal I understand and will pray for onefarmer's wife.

BTDT. Consults thru Betty Ford in Grand Rapids, surgery and chemo thru Spectrum Greenville. Going on 3 years, cancer free, but continues with some chemo. Probably will for rest of life. Prayers.

Thanks for the picture, I printed a 4x6, it is on the bed-side table where it is viewed daily, faces turn to friends.
