I attended a wedding yesterday, passed a lot of beautiful farms and saw some old Farmalls on the way there (keeping on topic). The preacher was reading the vows, instead of holding a little book, he was using an iPad, made his tie glow slightly. I guess we are in the 21st century...

I saw a TV preacher that was using an I-pad or a notepad
instead of a bible .

I'm sure something similar was said when the first preacher typed his sermon on a typewriter, instead of hand-writing it.

We attended a Catholic mass recently In the USA where the priest used an electronic pad of some sort. I thought that was quite drastic, because The Book is so central to the mass.

Or when one wrote his sermon on parchment instead of using that old hammer and chisel on a piece of stone.......
