I had to square, plumb and level the posts and bottom boards on my hands and knees. To get back on my feet I crawled to the lawn mower and used the hood and tires to get up. I can get most of the rest standing or on a step ladder. I might have to call on one of the Great Grand kids to nail the roof.

Don't think 3 tractors and a baler is going to fit that machine shed.

I understand the part about needing something to help getting up. Pain, being old, and not able to get up and all the simple things we used to do without thinking, is hard! But beats the alternative.

Posts three feet in tamped dirt will hold it until the plywood is nailed solid on three sides.

Like I told the doc the other day. When I drop something, the first thing I do is cuss and have to get down on one knee to pick it up. If I can hold onto something when I bend over to pick something up, I am OK.

Yep, and I always look around for anything else I might need so I don't have to waste getting up just to bend over or kneel again!

Ever since knee surgery I have been doing deep knee bends (PT girl says it is OK) just yesterday I was down on my knees and went to pull myself up, when I decided to try it with just my legs and I was able to do it. Felt really good!

Dick I admire your drive with all the health issues you have!!!!! Keep on driving ahead. Wish I lived closer I would enjoy helping on that shed.
