I have a 540 case tractor. It has a front mount pump to run the loader. Having a very hard time locating the collar that attaches to the gear drive on the tractor. Can any one help me locate one? Hate to get rid of the tractor because I can't use the loader. May be why the loader wasn't mounted when I bought it. Just my luck one step forward and two back. Is any one honest any more??? PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.

There were too many types of couplers to know just what you need. You can always go to nmatched gears that use double roller chain for a coupler they are probably the best type that was used. We need a good description of just what you need Lovejoy was another type

If there is a bearing supply near you, take some pictures and accurate shaft measurements (you'll need calipers). If you can get the one coupling that you have off, take it with you. If it's still good, one less part to buy. They should be able to get you a coupling that will work.

(reply to post at 08:51:34 09/19/15) quote] Thanks for responding. I have more info but no picture yet. The shaft seems to be the right length. The coupler is a 4" circle 4 hole bolt pattern. The holes are 2 3/4" straight across center to center.2" center to center next to each other. The holes have rubber inserts with a metal insert inside the rubber. The shaft seems to be 1 7/8 or 2" wide spline drive. I hope this additional info may help some one to help me out. Thanks to everyone trying to help me out. God bless .
