Funny story about Cabela's tractors

I have said on here and many others have to, your satisfaction with a tractor or anything depends on the dealer. Yesterday a man that was in charge of servicing tractors at the local Cabela's called where I work. Seems no parts available from Cabela's for the problem he was facing. He was smart enough to figure out their tractors and the little Mahindras were both the same made by TYM. Next day we had his part and I can't repeat his opinion.

Rural King tried to sell some sort of oddball tractor 5 or so years ago. About all of them sat on their lot for a year or two and disappeared. I know they did not sell them.

Businesses should focus on their core business.

That's how businesses grow is by diversifying. The problem with these businesses is that someone is not doing their homework and finding out which brands are decent and sell as opposed to the lesser brands that seem to disappear as fast as they pop up. We got a place near us that tired selling Chinese tractors then some Korean brand of skid steers. Neither lasted long. This guy could sell compact tractors and skids if he'd stop getting sucked into some kind of "deal" by a factory rep. Little internet research can pay off in the long run.
