John Deere 720/730 standards

Hey guys. I was wondering if you could shed some light on 720/730 standard tractors. Some questions I have, was there very many made with a 3 point hitch and also was there a special wheel weight for them? Basically how common are these options?
Thanks

There were quite a few made with 3pt, some with adjustable front axle, but from what I have seen a majority were equipped with no 3pt and non-adjustable front axle. My dad bought a new 730 STD in 1959, non-adjust front and no 3pt, diesel pony start. An uncle had a 720 STD, with rock shaft and non-adjust front axle, electric start, bought new. I have a 730 LP STD non-adjust and no 3pt. Lot of standard tractors sold in this neck of the woods (wheat country).

It has been my experience that finding Standard 620-720-630and730 tractors with 3 point hitches is very difficult especially in expo quality condition. Sometimes a person can look years for
one and when you do find it be sure to have a good bank account. That 3 point will nearly always carry at least a four thousand dollar premium. As Dave said they shipped most all Standard
Tractors to the western wheat belt and were mostly used to pull grain drills so no need for the three point. I can't recall ever seeing a standard John Deere on a midwestern row crop farm
growing up. Also I don't think that the records in the John Deere Archives differentiates the Standard Tractors that were shipped with the three point from other equipment.
