taken about 5 miles from my home, that's a DC10, no photoshop. There are also a hundred or so dozers making fire breaks, theres your tractor content.

Whenever there was a forest fire, the Forest Service would commandeer equipment from ADOT; we hated to see that because it was always abused and came back broken. Of course, the Forest Service never had any money left to pay for repairs. Especially hated it when they took our dozers, as they really beat them up.

Where is this photo? Here in n. Ca we
actually got a little rain to help slow the
"valley fire". Started Saturday at 1pm and
by Sunday 6am was art 40,000+ acres. For a
while it was burning 2,000 acres an hour.

Sorry, Calaveras County California. The southern edge of the "Butte fire", taken near Sheepranch by not me. 5 canyons come together here, so its not quite as dangerous as it appears, but these pilots do have big brass ones.
