No, the paper said the driver took down 2 poles and
then got tangled in live wires.

That is just a few I remember about Swift drivers.

There is a local trucking company that has REAL nice trucks. The owner tells all his drivers to NEVER park around a Swift driver. He has had several trucks damaged by the Swift drivers cutting too soon and hitting his trucks while parked. He says Swift is a nightmare to deal with on damage claims.

Yeah the swwift equivalent in Canada is bison transport...robotic steering wheel holders at best. You really do get what you pay for....

Did it happen on Monday by chance? A couple of weeks ago a tow truck driver told me Monday is when truckers cut corners too short. They get used to driving a car during the weekend and forget they are driving a truck when they get between the wheel of an 18 wheeler Monday morning.

Sadly that happens too often. I'm always worried I'll end up in one of those pics some day. I lost my bumper and fender to a swift driver avwhile back. Andbyes, swift is hard to deal with on clsims. They just tell you what they will pay and you can sue them ifbyou don't like it. They flat regused to pay me for the days lost while my truck was in the shop.
